In 2017, JAC and Volkswagen Group established a Joint Venture agreement focusing on the development of electric vehicles. The agreement ensures that JAC adopts technical expertise and quality assurance from Volkswagen, and that the vehicles share the same production lines as Volkswagen.
JAC has also established a world-leading digital smart factory, in collaboration with NIO.
The cars are manufactured in Anhui province in China, in state-of-the-art production facilities.
